I'm the founder of Three to Eleven, a qualified teacher and early years specialist, and someone who still gets a thrill from a child's lightbulb moment.

I qualified as a teacher in the UK in 2013 and have taught in four schools across London and Hong Kong, working with both the UK National Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. Along the way I became fascinated by how children learn to read, which led me to complete a Master's in Literacy Learning and Literacy Difficulties in 2017.

Teaching at a London international school in 2020/21, when bubbles and restrictions shaped every day, showed me how much children benefit from support that is tailored to them. Later, tutoring with a London agency, I realised this was the work I loved most: small groups, real relationships, and the time to notice what each child needs next.

So I started Three to Eleven. Today I run small-group sessions, holiday camps and 1:1 support in St John's Wood and Hampstead, with a particular focus on helping three and four year olds feel ready for their 4+ assessments. The aim is always bigger than a school place. I want children to leave curious, confident and proud of what they can do, and parents to feel calm and well informed along the way.

When I'm not teaching, you'll find me with my boys in the park enjoying the outdoors. My favourite picture book to share is The Enormous Turnip.

The 4+ process can feel overwhelming for families. My approach is calm and honest. I don't coach children to perform. I help them build the everyday skills and confidence that let their personality shine: listening, following instructions, sharing, talking about their ideas, and having a go.
